Here's an easy biscuit recipe for when there's only a few people, a few ingredients and a few minutes of time. They're not as flaky due to the lack of butter but they are soft, slight chewy and have wonderful flavor!

Prep Time10 minsCook Time10 minsTotal Time20 mins
 1 ½ cups einkorn flour
 ½ tsp baking soda
 ½ tsp sea salt
 2 tsp raw honey
 ½ cup brazil nut milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1

In a large bowl place inside the flour, baking soda and sea salt. Whisk all together. And make a small well in the middle of the flour mixture by pushing the flour up the sides of the bowl.

2

In a liquid measuring cup measure out 1/2 cup of brazil nut milk. Pour the milk in the middle of the well and add the honey.

Mix just till the dough comes together.

3

The dough will be slightly sticky. Turned the dough onto a lightly floured surface, sprinkle flour on top of the dough and gently pat the dough into a circle that's 3/4 inches thick.

4

5

With a 3 inch round cutter or with the 3 inch opening of a glass jar cut out circles of dough by pushing down on the dough then twisting slightly and pulling up. Place each biscuit on a parchment lined baking sheet.

6

Take a little bit of the brazil nut milk and lightly brush some on each cut out biscuit.

7

Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10 minutes or till slightly golden brown.

These biscuits are wonderful right out of the oven and best served as soon as they're baked. However after cooled they can be stored for up to three days in an airtight container. When ready to eat just warm them up for about 5 minutes using a oven or toaster oven.
